This four month old sleeping beauty...

... turned ten today. I can't believe it. But I couldn't ask for a better ten year old in the whole world. So glad she's mine!

As mentioned in my last post, Tori and Scott's wedding was at the Inn of the Seventh Ray, an outdoor venue nestled in the hills of Topanga. We lucked out with the rain holding off until later that night and we had plenty of time before the ceremony to do portraits in the area. One of the things that I loved about their wedding was the mix of total non-traditional elements with some very traditional religious ones.

But first some details by the fabulous coordinator at the Inn, Kelly Hancock:

These peonies are to die for!

Tori and Scott helped each other get ready! You gotta love that!

Isn't she gorgeous?

Tori was a bridesmaid at the wedding of this couple two years ago...

Seven years ago, Tori and Scott had dinner at the Inn of the Seventh Ray to break up. Yes, they were on a break up date. And yes, at one of the most romantic settings in LA. Seven years later we were all gathered at the Inn to celebrate their love and marriage.

If you have never been to the Inn of the Seventh Ray, it is a beautiful, fairy tale location set amongst a creek and woodland area in Topanga Canyon. This is not a place to break up with someone. But I think Scott secretly knew that when he took her here. Had I not gotten married on the beach, this would have been my choice of venues.
Too many gorgeous photos - I'll have to do more then one post. Let's start with the portraits we shot at the Inn and around the area. Tori and Scott didn't hesitate when I asked about seeing each other before the ceremony. And because they did, we were able to get some amazing images taken and we had a blast too.

This is the break up table. It looks much better now, don't you think?

I'm so glad Tori remembered me after being a bridesmaid at her friends wedding two years ago. Tori and Scott live in Chicago and after dating for seven years decided to finally tie the knot! They didn't come out to LA until a few days before the wedding so we did our engagement photos the day before! Stay tuned for the fairy tale wedding photos!
Aren't they cute? And Scotts eyes are amazing!
