I met this family in between rainstorms a few weeks back. I always suggest to my families that we shoot at a place that has meaning to them and when they actually take my advice I'm a happy girl because I know the photos will have even more meaning to them. (That goes for all of you out there reading this!)

The Keith's have been going to this park every summer since the kids were little to listen to the summer concerts here. Now, here we were with two grown sons and I could just feel from mom how much this photo shoot meant to her. I believe this is what she asked for for Christmas and her men were sweet enough to oblige.

I just wanted to share this stunning sunrise I saw from my bedroom window this morning. I hope your day is filled with beauty.

I'm trying to catch up on blogging some great events, and I loved this Temecula wedding of Cynthia and TIm. When I met with them and Cynthia told me their dogs would be included in the ceremony, I said sign me up!!! I love clients that think outside of the box and have weddings that are true to themselves, no matter what.

The wedding was held at the beautiful Lake Oak Meadows property in Temecula with Layne' Powell coordinating. The weather was absolutely perfect (okay, a little cold when the sun went down but the fire pits were perfect!). Cynthia customized the Kirstie Kelly dress with black panels and designed the centerpieces (gorgeous orchids from Zuma Canyon Orchids in Malibu). Meanwhile, her mom made the bouquets, obviously Cynthia's favorites.

One of the great things that Oak Meadows offers is the horse and carriage entrance for the bride, this one provided by Tucker Carriages.

Cakes to Celebrate made this stunning wedding cake... and there was one for the dogs too, created by Three Dog Bakery!

I realized this morning that my pups don't make it on my blog, ummmm, maybe ever? So I thought I'd have Zoe and Karma wish you all a fabulous 2011!

Okay, so my dogs aren't technically pups, but they still are to me. Zoe is eight and Karma is nine. We tried to get Karma in reindeer ears but he got so excited his tail kept knocking the tree around and he was stepping on the presents... it got ugly. Oh well. Karma prefers to hang out in the kitchen in case you drop something. They've been part of our lives for almost eight years and we love these guys.
