I know I might sound like a broken record but one of the reasons I love doing engagement sessions is to get to know the couples before their weddings. Joy told me Ryan was shy, and Ryan confirmed that when we meet at the Santa Monica Pier for our shoot. He looked around nervously at all the people so we took off for some quieter corners. But then what does he do for the next hour? Hits all these cool model poses, asks if we can try ideas that he has... we had such a great time! And Joy... all I can saw is WOW! Now I can't wait to shoot their wedding even more! Some of my favs...
