Remember how sweet Fernando and Mary were at our downtown engagement session awhile back?  Well, they recently got hitched downtown too.  They picked a reception venue that is a beautiful piece of art deco, downtown LA history.  And although I'm sure they loved the history of the place, it was the view they had all night of the building where they met that made the Oviatt Penthouse the perfect place to spend their first few hours of married bliss.

But first some details... This may be my favorite dress shot of all time.

I loved the detail on the Allure Bridal dress.  Shoes are Cole Haan's.

Isn't Mary gorgeous?  After getting ready at her brothers home, off we went to St. Columbian Church in downtown LA for the ceremony.

On the way to the Oviatt, we had about ten minutes to run out and get these shots.

Then over to the reception where every corner was filled with amazing architecture and details.

Don't be alarmed if I ever drag you into a bathroom because we will probably get something like this:

There are so many cute wedding cake toppers out there nowadays but it was great seeing this traditional one for a change. I also love that each table held a childhood photo of Fernando and Mary.

The very emotional Father of the Bride speech...

Thank you so much Fernando and Mary for allowing me to capture your day for you.  I wish you the best with your new lives in Texas.
