Perry and Devon met while working at the LA Times. Thank goodness they didn't take that "I don't date co-workers" saying seriously! Their careers eventually took them to New York where Perry proposed at the top of the Wonder Wheel in Coney Island, fireworks going off in the background and everything! The romance and fun loving energy really sum these two up.

Devon and Perry decided to come back to California for a destination wedding in San Diego. They hired me over the phone so I didn't get to met them until the day of their wedding. We clicked right away and started off running with some sexy photos before she got dressed. Sorry, those aren't here but wait until you get an eyeful of the fun steamboat they got married on!

It was only fitting that their wedding would include fireworks...

Thank you to all the amazing vendors that made their day special:

Boutonniere: Tiburon

Harrison was already part of Dani's family. Sort of. He was Dani's brothers' best friend and was always around. Little did they know in the beginning that over the years love would take hold of them and not let go. The connection these two have is so strong. (Did you see their engagement session?) Harrison also included Dani's whole family in his proposal... how do you not fall in love with a guy like that?

Dani and Harrison, thank you so much for allowing me to capture the love between you two and the first hours of being Mr and Mrs.

I love when my couples opt to see each other before the wedding. Having this first look not only allows for more relaxed portrait time, it allows the two of you to have a private, loving moment together that you will always cherish. For any of you nay-sayers out there who think that having the first look isn't worth it, I think these images may change your mind...

I just love Dani's classic beauty...

Ummm, yea, she was lookin' at her man! Make sure to call me guys!

Big thanks to all the wonderful vendors that made this happen for Dani and Harrison:
Dress: David's Bridal
Cake/Cupcakes: Whisk Me Away
Mini Pies: Simple Things
Flowers: Petals by Xavi
DJ and Photo Booth: J & M Entertainment
Fiddle Group: The Silver Mountain String Band

I happen to have the most gorgeous nieces (and two adorable nephews!). No really, I do.

G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.!!!
I recently took senior portraits for 'E' (on the left) while my son and I were visiting his cousins. I'll be posting the whole session soon, but I wanted to post this beautiful snapshot of my son and the girls, two of my four stunning nieces. (Now I need to get the others photographed so you can see what I mean!)

Thank you, Nell, for introducing me to your amazing, fun, absolutely gorgeous family. And not to rush things, but you better call me when these kids of yours get engaged!

Reader, please be aware that you are about to view amazing genetics...
