Laurie of La La Laurie has the cutest paper bouquets in her etsy shop but I love that she shows DIY how-to's on her blog! Awesome! (L.O.V.E. the tree pedestal cake stand!)
I seem to have a few small weddings this year. A new trend? You'll love Intimate Weddings which has tons of DIY ideas and templates too!

Between being sick for four or five days now (one tends to loose count when one is lying in bed that long) and the holidays, I have been MIA on this dear old blog. I still have quite a few shoots to catch up on before my weddings kick back in next month.
And that wedding would be of these two love birds! We did their engagement session just about a month ago at one of my favorite local places. This was one of the most easy going shoots I've had. They were just so laid back and so... so content. It was a wonderful feeling to be around. I can't wait for their special day to get here.

Here is part two of the Rockstar Portraits with Kelsey and Zach. By the way, I love when the men come along. Many times it's just the bride that wants to do these but having the husband join in can make for smokin' hot pictures!
After the horses we drove out to Malibu for some beach shots. They were even up for some trashy, trash the dress shots at the outhouse! Love these guys so much. Kelsey and Zach, you were my dream couple! Thank you so much for finding me and having fun with the camera... and dealing with the Highway Patrol that kicked us off the beach! Ahhhhh, good times!

Whatever you call it, we did it! And boy, with amazingly good looking people like Kelsey and Zach, it's hard to go wrong. You saw their sneak peak last week but here is the first of two posts of the fun we had.
When Kelsey contacted me with a Rockstar Portrait request, I couldn't wait to meet them. I love doing these so much but I know not everyone wants to get their wedding dress potentially ruined. And I don't like saying Trash the Dress... more like, let's just have fun and not worry about the dress. And that's exactly what we did.
Kelsey's from Colorado so she's a little bit country (even though she should be a poster child for what we all see as gorgeous Southern California beach babes). We went into Agoura for part one...
