Art & Soul Series

Mindfulness-Inspired Art Classes & Creative Workshops

The Art & Soul Series brings creativity and mindfulness together in a shared space of exploration, reflection, and community. No art background required. Just curiosity.

For years I hosted workshops through my Art & Soul Collective — gatherings centered around making art in community. Many of these community creative gatherings focus on collage, intuitive art making, and handmade journals, to name just a few. But no matter what the class is, what I discover again and again is that the creative process naturally invites the same qualities we cultivate in meditation: Presence, curiosity, and a willingness to let go of perfection.

Rather than keep these worlds separate, I’ve brought them together here.

The Art & Soul Series lives within my meditation offerings because, for me, they have always belonged in the same room.

Why Creativity Matters

When we create, something shifts.

Our busy minds soften.
Our attention returns to the present moment.
We reconnect with our inner voice.

Making art isn’t about perfection.
It’s about being present with the creative process.

What we create together

The Art & Soul Series includes a variety of creative gatherings. Some lean more toward mindfulness, others toward playful experimentation, but all share the same intention: presence through creativity.

Examples include:

  • Community collage gatherings

  • Meditation + art workshops

  • Nature-inspired creative practices

  • Seasonal art and journaling rituals

  • Handmade book and journal making

  • Intuitive collage and mixed media exploration

  • Community art projects and collaborative pieces

Each event is designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and accessible to all levels of experience.

No art background required. Just curiosity.

Join the Art & Soul Series

Throughout the year I’ll be offering art classes, community collage gatherings, and creative workshops.

If creativity speaks to you — whether as play, reflection, or healing — I hope you’ll join us.

Come make something.
Come slow down.
Come create in community.

Creative Kindness Projects

Not all creative expression happens in a studio.

Some of my favorite art projects are simple acts of creativity shared out in the world.

One example is the “Take What You Need” kindness flyer project — a small piece of street art designed to offer encouragement to strangers passing by.

Each flyer has tear-off tabs with words people may need in that moment — hope, courage, patience, belonging.

People stop.
They smile.
Sometimes they cry.
Sometimes they take a word and carry it with them.

It’s a reminder that creativity can also be a form of kindness.

You can download the flyer for free and share it in your own community.
